i'd been so taken in by this drawing, by all it had brought. And then my brother's visit Though it has been right here to the left of me, it had become like a dream. Beginning the Willow Tree….remembering it, what it WAS to me, to my life then was good today. Very good. I can get back there, listening again…wait again. I buried things under Her. I wonder if they are still there?

childhood memories we carry forever, and they can resurface when unexpected.. reminding us of what made us into the person we are today… good or bad memories.. they were/are life forming. I believe the buried treasures are still there.

The old willow is a third figure in the drawing. It has a protective ancient feeling, but also – fresh and light.

My twin and I buried some dimestore items in our grandmother’s backyard, against the fence; she died the next day and we never returned to her house. I remember remembering this, and again today.
