sent by Tia Yesi.   She and the dad took Emrie to the mall.    And last night i Faltered with Radical Acceptance…not crashed,  but faltered.    All while she's been there she hasn't wanted to talk on phone.   They ask…do you want to call your mom?….  No.   When she has gotten on because someone else is talking to Alyssia,   it's been      Hi,  I love you,  bye.     That worked for a few days….but it's gone on.   Yesterday,  Alyssia got on the plane to go get her.  They come back tomorrow.   and on late into the day she was there…no phone…..and i thought,   faltering,    What If she wants to

stay

what if  the close to Disney production she walked into there is just SO GREAT….how they all have come up with such great and wonder FULL things and she has been the absolute CENTER of Everything for 2 weeks…non stop….no down time….What if a Hill  doesn't

compare?

to eating out all the time,  going to Amusement Parks ,  an ocean,   malls for shopping,   riding in a new Jeep with a sun roof you can stand through ,  a stepMom who has turned out to be some kind of dream come true as has your         DAD.   How they are getting married.    going to make a baby.   who would be your sister or brother   all the Aunties,  the Abuela  the brother Aiden

it was about 10:30 last night when Alyssia called.   saying        She's ready.   She's really ready to come home.

and that’s the truth! An often messy house with an Uncle and his two kids, a cat, an old demented dog and a BIG slobbery dog, feral cats galore Kid stuff EVERYWHERE, a uhhhh, interesting older brother
and an Old Nanna on a Hill with dirt, inside and out a
Tin House with no electricity, life with flash lights, Goats everywhere, some needing to be buried now and then, a cat that appears and disappears, a chicken Gone, a dog that needs NEEDS a ball thrown and thrown and thrown
a New Nana who works and works and works and takes you
    roller skating when she can
    true. no place like home.

She looks so happy and proud and adorable.
Wait for her to be home, to sort through all that she has experienced, to tell of what she felt, of what it was like to be surrounded in the love of this other family. What is most important is that she is loved by so many. The basic grounding of family though, is what she has every day, all that you mentioned above, the day in and day out loving, caring, informing, sharing, guiding that she receives from all of you. Her grounding is solid, real life, Yes she had “Disneyland”, and it can be dazzling for a young child but Emrie, although a young girl is also an old soul…
I am sending her a big hug for when you next see her.

Griffin was heartbroken when his cousins left after a five day visit … what child doesn’t want live forever in the fantasy world that the grownups manage to create during vacations?

Oh that pic! The curl up-top her hairline, the sideways smile and the still red-tender ear…in this one photo I see a little girl who has done some big growing in the last two weeks…things she’s learned, things she Knows. This old soul girl who will most likely fall into her CA, everyday family with stories and questions and a whole body of relaxing in her usual and comfortable world. Please give her a hug from this far away old lady of the bridge and the hawks and the weaving gifts to strangers. Welcome back home Emrie! 💕

Sigh… radical acceptance means radical sometimes, not easy. But in this case, so glad you can embrace her coming home. I hope she can tell you something about her thoughts and feelings while she was there.
