To appreciate the sun is to know your aliveness.
To be a dog and sleep where you fall.
To accept the greening of season as a given.
So many riches in this one photo.

the temperatures here whipsaw between 40s and 80s … and the pollen time is upon us, when the live oaks push their old leaves off and begin the process of renewing themselves
it is a gift to sit quietly watching … perchance to sleep

Minnow belongs to the Hill and the life style it provides. With its diverse weather patterns, embrace the moment! I was so happy to read about the Lizard emerging! I took a hike with friends up a steep rocky ridge and came upon a desert tortoise. Huge, sunning on a rock. I worried about its ability to get off the rock without ending upside down, but then figured by its size it has lived in the area for maybe 60 years and knows what to do.

To be so totally relaxed in nature .. that would definitely not be me. Although I do think resting in your hammock would do me just fine. So grateful you’re getting to enjoy some sunshine.

Such a blessing, the warm sunshine. I really appreciate it since we don’t have much here. It’s playing hide and seek with clouds and there’s a cold wind. Still winter coat weather. Your long sleeve cotton shirt sounds wonderful.
