OK. planted. Leafy greens and one row of Carrots. Carrots for the kids. a short fat kind….maybe they will work. But here we have it. Rows. Experiment. Wait. There are still seeds that will go into pots. As many as i can. But all the "beds" are done. a great sense of a peaceful satisfaction. i sit and think…those words….peaceful satisfaction. it's new. different from wishing i'd done more. This is enough. The peaceful satisfaction of Enough.

Me too. 🙂 I think I’ve got the balance right this year…what I planted and what I can take care of through the summer.

I’m not gardening this year, save for a few pots, so to see your garden beds, with plants, the rich dirt enhanced by the golden gift of goat poop, the plants in the pots waiting to go into the ground, the melon patch and all of the beautiful wild “bounty” that naturally grows on your land, brings me such satisfaction plus a feeling of well being and peace to know that all of this hard work will nourish la familia and those of us who come through your garden gate via windthread…

Peaceful Satisfaction is something I’ve spent many years integrating into my everyday. Retiring early at 62 although scary at the time made it possible. I’ve been retired 10 years now and am filled with gratitude that I can end my day with a feeling of peaceful satisfaction that whatever I did .. it was enough. Your garden looks wonderful ..

Peaceful Satisfaction…when we do what we can handle and what we enjoy…such a gift.
Lately, even if I don’t get all of the things done that I want/need to…I’m finding it so much easier to stop and feel okay with that. Another gift, in my book. xoLikeLike
