this is Friday now.

so,  just to reassure.    Jude commented that  it  "looks a bit AI".         Alyssia had sent it to me so when i talked to her this morning i relayed Jude's comment and asked her  what she thought.  While we were on phone,  she  found this:

Storm Arwen masterpiece        daily mail.co.uk   by Lizzie May   Dec.  2021,   the article.     The photographer is Colin Richards  the place is Mynydd-Pwll-yr-lwrch   South Wales

not AI.

as i said in the response to Jude,  i know very little about AI  by choice.   My sense of it is that it  serves to keep us off balance,  makes us unsure  which may result in  the numbing that Joanna Macy talks about.    and just to say….i  am   Care full    about what i offer here  and i think i have an instinctive sense of what would be    AI.   you would not find it here.

    ……..o
i really don’t know much about AI …except the term and
    a general idea
because i don’t want to know much about it
so i hope it isn’t what this is. but i’ll never know.
because i don’t want to know. but also now, there
is the seed of it stuck in me…that this is how it is
possible that things you don’t want can get stuck in you
    anyway and
well, i guess even if you don’t want to….it is
good? to be vigilant? but i don’t want this feeling/thought either

It does look a bit too perfect doesn’t it. I would think wind driven would be much more random. This will be our new reality. Questioning all images that come our way. It is beautiful…

and this is where we are in these fret-full days … not knowing what to believe or disbelieve … questioning everything … which we must, but it is disorienting to always be “on guard” with our defenses up … not trusting our own eyes … marinating in the constant madness that calls itself politics

It’s gorgeous. I’m pretty good at spotting AI-generated people. It is notoriously bad at rendering hands. There are sometimes extra limbs or feet pointing the wrong way, that sort of thing.

Taking a break from being on the web but this post has stayed with me and I have thought about it for some time and simply felt the need to come here and put down a few words: Yes I get how pervasive AI is becoming but in this instance, I totally believe this Earth Weave. Living in New Mexico, where we have winds almost a daily occurrence; some winds mild, soothing, others fierce and strong, I have seen the winds do some astonishing, non devastating things, things that can only be attributed to spirit, so this weave is totally within my understanding of phenomenon.
