This bright, introverted boy, who knew when it was time, and because he was allowed to listen to his own “time”, look where he is today: graduating along side his peers and graduating with Honors. He stands tall and confident in his graduation robe, his honors medal around his neck, I’m sure quietly feeling proud of all that he has accomplished in such a short time. I am so proud of him. Most of all, how wise of Alyssia to know he needed his own time: Julian Ortiz, a fine young man who is just getting started. Congratulations Julian.

Yes on so many levels. There were many times we Wondered.
we had “concerns”, or, really, we worried. I’m sure
Alyssia worried more, if she was doing the right thing by allowing his agency. But everyone was steadfast. and
HE DID IT…just as he decided he would. And it
“belongs to him”. He is an interesting person. I smile

I watched her being born…sliding out at dawn all those years ago and now see her here in this pic…a place she
