yesterday i wasn't sure.    …Was for the first time ever,    Depleted.   Mentally and physically.  Completely.  Depleted.  But today,  if i am going to live,  i will need to eat.    and it is the perfect and ONLY time to clean the refrigerator.   I DID.    scrubbed,   sat,  drink water,  breathe.  scrub.   repeat   over and over all day.   Slow going,  but happening.   and done.   Tomorrow ice can come.  Food can come.        For now,  it's totally empty,  all bagged for trash,  all condiments,  all my little jars of dipping recipes,  my beautiful big bottle of Sriracha.     Begin again.

Depleted is dreadful. The urge to move, eat. Then, the urge to tidy. Good.
I misread Tomorrow ice can come, as Tomorrow ice cream cone. As good an idea as any.
Fire, fear, evacuate living beings, necessities, treasures. Extreme heat. Smoke.
Fear. Mental and physical toll. Upsetting.
I’m glad you’re safe. Tomorrow ice will come.
    Love and hugs.

I’m grateful evn with the depleted self, you were able to accomplish a great goal. I’m glad you saw to it slowly, with water breaks. Please be safe with the heat. I know you are, I say this because I care and because I have been having a hard time with the heat this week. I usually don’t, but I have been. As Wendy would say “it’s no joke” – one must take the appropriate precautions and care. xo

Unrelenting heat is totally depleting but you are wise and you know to listen to your body and take breaks when needed. You know to pace yourself with your daily goat chores. I don’t know if you have any cool spots on your land but if so, I know you will find them to sit a bit. When the ice comes, hopefully also comes a watermelon and some cucumber. Slices of cucumber in a tall glass of iced water is so refreshing. Chunk up some ice and fill a spray bottle with the ice and water and spray yourself all day long. Put some chunks on your head, put a hat on top of your head and let the ice drip down all over…Yes, I know this sounds silly but it sure worked for me during some very hot days when living in Texas.

How very hard it is to empty…. And to begin again. And yet we must.
    Begin every day.
    Sometimes every hour..
    take good care Grace.
    For once we are empty
    we can begin again.
    Slowly
    Mindfully
    Joyfully
    Wearing a halo of ice
    Cubes on our head

Dear ((( Grace ))) It’s one big never ending camping trip isn’t it. Ice to keep food. How much I take for granted… Hope you have your kiddy pool to help with cooling. Metta and love.

Grace you got this .. glad you woke up feeling better. Glad that you’re taking it slow and drinking lots of water. Is everything opened around you .. grocery store .. post office??? Sending prayers that you’re able to keep moving slowly towards getting everything done that needs doing. 😘

Here I was bitching about the AC being on the fritz for about ten hours. If I were there, I’d be laying in the creek until I pruned.

Slow prep for ice and nourishing food. I hope at the end of this day you can look back and rest in the knowledge of your ability and endurance mustered where none seemed to exist. Hugs!
