they follow the Evacuation.   maybe are even    FROM   the evacuation.   Or simply because it's time.

Michelle's dress.   She sent it.   A dress that knew her body,  that walked with her around NYC.   Was   orange   when  i couldn't "do"  orange,  so….just put away.

But today,  becomes one of two.   The Magic Dress LeafLitterDress  ,  the Michelle Dress.   With them,  i'll learn how to live in these times.

and then,   this.  Which i might repeat many times ,   because it needs repeating until it      sinks in.

from Karen Caputo   Facebook

"this constant lying is not aimed at making the people believe a lie,  but at ensuring that no one believes anything anymore.

A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies cannot  distinguish between right and wrong.  and,  such a people,  deprived of the power to think and judge,  is, without knowing and willing it, completely subjected to the rule of lies.  With such a  people,  you can do whatever you want.

Hard days. Are they succeeding? Mmmm…feels like it.
I’ve had 3 somethings I’ve thought to send you for – well, forever. There was mud and fires and I just never did. One is a very lightweight skirt, for the hot days…over woolen leggin’s for the cold (haha, don’t know about that, but it’s fun to imagine).
Let me know if you want. xo

The truth is so precious. Feeling it more and more. The dress looks wonderfully lightweight.

Two words- “Truth Social”: how it saddens and wounds me to see the word Truth co-opted and used as a tool for deceit, hatred, and violence….

it is…LIGHT and large. On me, for the Hill’s eyes
only i wear nothing under it. it’s meant to go
    over a shirt or something…like a jumper…i started
to do this at some point just barely…stitch on a strip
under the arm to make it more modest
i can continue that with a small rectangle from the hem for
    the other arm
too soon to say much, but that lightness…is also
so woven to a sense of Michelle herself, her sisterness
all the years…it is making it possible to continue the
    conversation with her
