how there is so much beauty….just small things…"small" things…like how these things, hanging together on that pvc pipe curtain rod across this "room" the Michelle dress and a shirt received in the mail…., their colors first this morning and then deepening/lessening/deepening throughout the day, watching that happen , how the Sun illuminated Michelle and changed the relationship of the two

there is Beauty and peace that arises from that Beauty that is Given and just Arises and

The gentle softness of Michelle’s dress next to the softly colored shirt- a quiet beauty. Yes, I have always believed that beauty, or what I call my sacred ordinaries,are all around us, if we still ourselves and take the time to really see what is before us.It used to take me forever, when I took walks, because I would spot something on the ground,tiny wildflower, seed pod, acorn, unusual rock, interesting grass as in the “eyelash” grass, Blue Gramma, etd. All of these wonders would make me crouch down, rest on my heels and marvel…Beauty comes in so many forms and the wabi sabi of an apple, fallen to the ground, semi shriveled with discernible bite marks from birds is equally as beautiful to me as a perfectly ripe hanging apple.
