I can’t quite tell what every ingredient is – but it reminded me that I just told J. today how much I miss ‘Mexican Food’ and our old favorite restaurant. Sigh.
I hope this was tasty and that the cooler feels especially good. We are a few days behind you, with 3 more days of triple digits. I’m so used to it now, it feels totally normal.

Yummy love all the colors … if it even tastes half as good as it looks you definitely made yourself a treat. I’m happy you have cooler days coming your way … sleep energy appetite all will come easier I’m sure. Love and Blessings Grace 😘

My mouth waters to see this food, so delicious looking and a visual treat because we eat with our eyes first. We never had much old bread since Rich used to bake wonderful sourdough bread that usually only lasted a day before the loaf was gone! On the rare occasion when we did have leftover bread, I turned it into Panzanella, tomato bread salad. Toast bread cubes, toss in a bowl along with homegrown tomatoes, basil, mozzarella cheese or Parmesan curls; if I had them I would add olives, sometimes Greek Kalamata, other times Italian Castelvetrano green olives, salt, freshly ground pepper and a good sprinkle of olive oil. A poor man’s feast fit for a king and one that my Dad taught me to make except he did not use Kalamata olives, he used Spanish Manzanilla olives..

Looks delicious. Most of our food is pretty saucy, I think.
