an Email from Typepad Help Ticket

"Our tech partner was able to guide us to a solution and in our testing rotating images after upload works again.  Can you confirm if it is working for you now?   Thanks, Laura"    YES   the two EASY STEPS.   Rotate.  Adjust contrast.     compared to     10 steps with the Phone that Alyssia taught me.    !!!  so Yes.   it is FIXED.    I am grateful to Typepad for  this.   in a world that seems to  demand change,   they found a way for me to rest easy in      EASE.     And…And…. I know now what i can do when it feels like the End of the World….i know now that phone fix.    So,  tonight….All is Well.

and as i drew more today ,   i understood the Mask to be a way for me to SEE   a     feeling.   and so to understand it more.  i am a visually oriented person

Grace~ Yay for ease!!!! So glad you have a fix to make it easier, less steps for you. But, just so you know, if t goes wonky again – it is no big deal on my end to click on the photo to right it. No worries.
I will wander with you and your mask here. I too have been considering how I see and move through the world. Neighborhood strolls without my camera, considering if I see more/less? Deeper/shallower? More/less interest?
I am less focused on sharing what I see and just seeing what I see, even if I write picture-less posts in my head, only to forget them once home. I am curious about your mask.

The features, especially the eyes, speak to me of sadness, distress… Maybe this is not what you intended when you drew this but since you spoke of the decimation of B garden, I well understand haw it feels to have done the work, anticipate the joy of harvest and then to be left with nothing, distress wraps around at these times but the mouth is open, maybe a howl, but also, maybe words that say, I will put my hands in the dirt again, i will plant seeds again, I will pot up plants again, and the land and I will continue…

Drawing a mask on a figure, seeing the feelings… that’s so interesting. I’m wondering how it’s different from drawing a person who’s feeling that feeling. The decoration of the mask adds another layer. And – I’m so glad the Typepad fix worked.

    Marti…yes.
sadness. distress. great grief. So much more than grow and harvest….about the LIFE caused there, the seed that cracked open and grew because i ASKED
the worlds of the soil worms
    worms
to ASK and then to fulfill the covenant of that Asking
Accepting the reality that i may not be able to….???
    do i Begin Again?
