i didn't think it would be easy.   but I didn't think it would be ……what it was…….     Had gotten an email from  PAWS  Promotion of Animal  Welfare Society,  a non profit  organization whose mission is to prevent animal suffering    the local HUGE animal  spay and neuter  people,   appointments months in ahead…..vaccination  days….a prerequisite of the spay clinic  and we WENT.  me and Minnow.   Arrived within the appointed hours .   Ten minutes in and ended up 3 almost 4 hours   later until we signed out.   First come first serve.   But 

but    the time I spent.        those hours….all the others in the two waiting rooms and on the chairs outside.   An unexpected  gift.   on   this election eve when the anxiety rolls high,   there….at this Vet Clinic….was all.  ALL.   kind.   Kind.   Friendliness…neighborness.    GOODNESS.     People having to wait.  Having to sit together    and talking and laughing and exchanging.   We were great.    We were people,  having to wait,  having to sit together,   talking and laughing,  exchanging and when that was finally done,  there was 8 minutes to make it to the Butte County Hall of Records

I like to go THE DAY   but because of this  dog stuff….there I was and I made it IN TIME
