A need rises, a pwoerful need, to DO something beyond the political, something just for myself. I don’t have pencils or paints but I do have cloth scraps that I have colored with the gifts of the land, this New Mexican land,this land of enchantment that holds so much spirit…I will stitch my little cloth booklet titled Land Ripples and let the ripples of the foraged and dyed cloths, soothe my soul…
