Happy to learn that the Colorado family came. Is that a photo of your lovely granddaughter Giada on your altar? If so, I remember when she was born and the name, Alluvial Fan,was tossed about. I also remember a photo of her as a tiny infant, in a tent, camping out with her Dad and Mom. The sweetest memory I have of her is when they came to visit you in Socorro, you squatting down, with her in your arms, introducing her to the goats… such special and sweet times, then, and now for you..

Your old blog from typepad is still here, attached to the WordPress blog. Not sure how far back it goes, but hitting the ‘next page’ button at the bottom of each page brings up older posts that were on typepad. The pictures are not clickable, I have no idea if there’s an easier method, but it seems to me that maybe, just maybe, all your posts have been preserved
