this, and a lot of stitching

the Mexican Elderberry leaves:
on the lft, a little lighter. just in the canning jar and a day of Sun
the right, the copper pot and some hours of Sun
both, washed with Ivory soap, seem color fast.

tomatoes canned. from the Farmer's Market. two jars had to go into freezer because i didn't want to
do the 45 min processing for two additional jars. here, where i normally give away bags, 3 were harvested.
used the water bath water in an aluminum pot with elderberry leaves and muslin. haven't looked yet.

hello Grace~I have been thinking about you and just checking in on how things are going for you. the piece you are working on does look balanced and is very beautiful. you have a great way of mixing simple yet complex…thought provoking 🙂 For elderberry dye, did you use berries or leaves? I wonder if we have those here in the northwest? I just dug out some fabric I put in a pot of soil with my zinnias. In a week and a half it already started decomposing. very interesting. hope all is well.

Hi Grace- let me know how the rusty rebar goes. BTW what do you mean by full of energy?! If you mean the number of posts..notice how there is nothing much about stitching. Visitors kind of put a curb on that.
