in keeping with jude's friend, the present form of the Black Swallowtail:
here is a cousin who cheerily ate the leaves ONLY on the grapes, and
ONLY after the fruit of the grape vine was no longer in need of leaves for the season. i have
no idea what s(he) might become next. it didn't matter, really, just
that s(he) was so perfetly grape like and lovely and amazing and
a very excellent partner of the habitat.

    Wow lots of cousins out there. I mentioned the Tomato horn worm on Judes site, because I thought that was what it was, but closer inspection, and Judes help, I believe it is different. Lots of those buggers out there.I have a grape vine, but never noticed these before, must go look.
