this is pretty much It.
going to live with it for a while, let the dogs do the
same.
the small center bottom piece took
forever to figure out.
Thank you all for your patience, but i need to
keep a "record" of what i'm doing these days.

its no trouble to follow you through your process. i like it that you use the blog as a tool… the way i use my camera too, but just not on the blog. it takes no patience for me anyway… i just like following along seeing what you see. i really liked all the photos of light… makes me want to visit again.

I like that in earlier stages, I still saw the jeans-ness of it, now, it feels materially transformed and I see the blue-nesses of it… shades and variations and subtle shifts – great transformation. I bet the dogs like it!

O Grace what a wonderful jeans couch.(Reminds me of the chair my daughter renewed with cloth made out of old jeans! perhaps you remember I showed it on the Beasts blog) I think you must be VERY satisfied with the result of your hard labour!!!

This is absolutely glorious- and I agree with Valerianna that it is a study of blue-nesses. What a wonderful word….. Thank you for sharing this project.

Worth watching as you looked, held the cloth, began to piece, found the windfall, added your special pieces/touches. Looking at this cover relaxes me; makes me feel cozy all over, looks inviting and comfortable. Utilitarian as well as lovely. You cant ask for more…except to actually stretch out on the futon!

Grace, it is serene and beautiful. It reminds me the song, the Curtains of Night…when the curtains of night are pinned back by the stars, and the beautiful moon sweeps the sky…
