Can hardly wait for your writing. I know I tend to be black and white sometimes and it comes across harshly, sorry.Like I said on Judes blog art is subjective so it can be a sun or a moon, what ever fits the owners story, I just felt confused a little with the word solstice. Im not making any friends lately am I? Maybe I should hold off on commenting for awhile,

a sun keep is just a sort of a story in my head. a way to remember and honor the sun.

There seems to be more depth and a few shadows here and there. It may be a trick of the light though. I love the way you are protecting/nurturing your sun? moon?;~) Debi

And the golden threads surround the moon, the tassels, guardians of the light that is coming from the Winter Solstice. And the celebration and tradition of story telling through cloth continues. A solstice blessing from Candlegrove: May your celebration of this season of holidays draw deep from the abundant joy, fierce hopes and enduring traditions of our ancestors.

For Helen… I didnt have any problem with what/how you made your comment either, just so you know. Grace, as always I love how your story builds and builds.

Helen, I am going to jump right in and say please continue to comment. We all have ways of seeing and feeling the art that is before us and it is all important. Solstice is Sun but when I looked at the orb that grace had placed in the bottom layer of her dark cloth, I saw the moon. Light comes from the sun, a warming light. Light comes from the moon, a cooling light- its all illumination as are all of our comments.
