007 many big thoughts arise this time of year, and this year, it seems more than usual.

there were many false starts and inbetween them all, this kept wanting to be looked at.  at first, it was to be entirely woven.  now, i am not sure.  will let it rest a little.  let the thoughts rest a little.

i am beyond really ready. waiting is something i am not at all good at.
this dark, yes. i love black. black to me is the color of
everything, the color of potential everything. underneath is
a very pale linen. might do a lot of things on that and then
continue with weaving the black, sealing it all in. or
    not.

deb…well…hmmm. it is large, cause the thought that caused it is my “buddhist” thought for the year, the
focus of my Practice. so how it goes will tell me
something about where i am. as i write that, i think
that it is good to let it take its own time.

the light cloth behind makes it look a bit like a drape over a window.

OH! YES! i hadn’t seen that in that way at all. so
interesting how cloth is “chosen” from many possibilities.
i pulled out so many pieces, placing them together,
liking certain ones for certain reasons but ending up
with these. the light linen that is the under cloth
was a long linen skirt (both pieces are thriftshop again)
that had really elegant tailored details about it…this
is a french seam, i think its called. it will have
something to do with what goes there. how i have yet
to let go of the divisions between things. that seam
    will be important.

before i read the comments, i was going to say a natural beautiful curtain! and that i might try that for a window that i hope is coming soon. it still looks like a window to me…
the different hanging lengths look like they are waiting for some wind.

somehow curtains and gates are related, both deal with the idea of two sides, an inside/outside a here/there and right now life is a little beautifully frightening, yes.
