   catherine…Thanks!, but i wondered what on earth you
   were talking about Ancient Egyptians for???? but then,
   funny, i realized that i was trying to dye a piece of
   thick thread a very certain color red that i had the
   thought to weave in the middle…and what is the
   color of the dye???? but Egyptian Red.
   but…WHAT were you referring to???????? i will
   also ask this question on your blog, in case you
   aren’t here for a while…????????

   Grace, it makes me think of the art of embalming. It also makes me think of paper made with strips of papyrus. Perfect then that the dye was Egyptian red!
