sitting infront of the woodstove, waiting for that moment when the heat is "enough" ….seeing the images from Jude's post  Under Glass  in my mind,  thinking.

staring at the floor and seeing how it's time to vacuum,  and that stringy thread amidst the dog hairs.   then,   Seeing the woman halted in her tracks, her hair blowing out behind her by the wind,  stopped in her tracks,  by something,  a plant?  a snake?  something,  appearing on her path  and she is leaning down just some toward it, to see more clearly?, to be able to hear what it is trying to say?

I love this – and she has that thread in her hair flying – ‘wind thread’. The plush of my bathmat yields an ever changing cast of characters and I once drew a funny clownish looking one to use as a pattern for stitch – who knows where it’s got to, though.

I just vacuumed yesterday. I sucked up so much potential vision! Yes, we just have to see….we miss sometimes by looking and not seeing.

wonder how many times i have sucked up beings? i will watch out next time.
i get furrby’s with bare floors….they breed into snaky shapes..wish i could let them get to yarn length, but little girls dance throughout the house and stir up the snakes and send them directly to my asthma. probably because i am laughing.

Cloud gazing on the floor. I love it! I was sorting acorns, filberts, and walnuts today. I noticed designs on the shells made by growth, insects, nature. It is all there for us to see, if we stop to look. I looked upon the thread woman and saw her hiking up the hill with her staff helping her find the way.

A lovely little thread gesture drawing. Looks to me like a wild-haired crone riding fast uphill on a motorized scooter – you know, the ones you stand up on… zipping along with her tail behind her.
