It’s her smile as much as her eyes!

i’ve had this page maybe 20 years…i took it out of the
periodical of Natural History that i’d found. one of my
worst and always regreted bad habits…to rip out pages of
things and not make a note of the publication.
the notation for Mammals of the World is just what i was
able to find about the photographer, Ernest P. Walker.
i’d had the idea to try to contact him, to talk to him
about his study/experience with this BeautyFull One.
according to the date on my note, that was 2005 and alas,
he died in 1961.LikeLike

These are great! My youngest looks just like her when he has to bathe. Furious but defeated.
I like her smiles. Her features – eyes, nose and mouth – are all so close together.LikeLike

Susan..you’re right. features all close. these are the
things to notice when making an effort to understand
why a face has such effect…
i hope you showed these to the boys………
and
i am still not finding that CD. but still am SURE it’s
here somewhere…they gypsy ferrets opera……
patience, loveLikeLike

I did show these to the boys. We talked about them for awhile, funny was their first thought, of course. Absolutely NO worries on the cd, Grace. I do the same – put things away for safe keeping and they are lost, usually for quite a long time.

Dru…YES
there is no self-consciousness, no censoring.
after all these years, i love her in the exact same way
i loved her upon seeing these pics for the first time
and i can’t even know how at all to think of her…
somewhere in a laboratory or animal study place
with people seeing how she
reacts
to things
somehow it points out how
stupid
we are
how graceful and Truehearted she isLikeLike

gracefulness, yes
i hope (and hope, and hope again) that she had a good life.
