I am excited for the new year. As I travel around to different blogs, I am feeling a different type of energy. I believe 2011 was the year of connections and I am so grateful for that. This coming year, 2012, is about our finding our own- For me anyway. A year to help define “self”. It’s been a long journey and I am excited to see what 2012 unfolds. XOXO

Sweet Grace…what nice plans…Sandy, bringing this idea forth…self & community…lovely – empowering – important.
Grace, I too was touched by Michelle’s words…I too have thought I need to write more down – there is so much information, so many worthy places, people, comments. I have considered continuing on in my big black book of blank pages.
Thank you so much for this lovely post Grace. So little says so much 🙂

the art of community. this is a big thing. holding one’s own while being held. and holding it together by holding it dear. like a big ball of string. a useful thing.

String is pretty important stuff. 🙂 Yes, documenting, pulling it all together, it’s so easy to lose small things without some kind of record.

Hi Grace,
great idea! Keeping a journal is a wonderful idea! I started one last Christmas – I drew my sketches, scribbled down notes…it’s nice to look at it.
Have a wonderful 2012,

Yes, just took a long walk to find a new pocket calendar for keeping track of things…and now it is time to review the old one and to remember this year. Good wishes and peace to you Grace, during this turnover time, xoxo, S.

As this year was a year of big changes I hope the next will give me time to stabilize. I have no plan beside to let life happen and be open … a journal is a good thing for collecting experiences ..
I wish you a very inspiring new year.

well…it’s not really a journal. i kept journals for
years and subsequently burned almost all of them.
Literally hundreds of pounds of writing.
this is just a little notebook of little things. a
single image someone’s words cause for me, a few
words someone says…like that.
