it's been waiting.  i have looked at it out of the corner of my eye almost constantly as i have been finishing the Garden's Dream.   and here…today i can stand directly in front of it.  see what has accumulated.   i am very very much looking forward to this cloth.   But first, i work today.  down the freeway, in San Antonio.  where they have a windmill that breathes up water.  i wish this blog had sound.

so…just to put this pic here because work away days often get lost.  and in keeping with my agreement with self,  i don't want to let that happen.

you would love the windmill. it is a literal breathing. no
thing else, just this breathing as the arm goes down, as the water is brought up. sometimes i just sit there next to it listening,
    matching my breath to it’s

good. because as yet, i see just forms and colors.
    this makes me
    very
    very
    happy.
i have cleared the table and washed the big special cloth
and finger pressed the edges. hung it over the back of
the old cowboy’s mother’s chair to dry for the night.
Tomorrow morning…who knows. but stuff is moving
around in my head. i can’t see it, but i see light
changing, shadows and then sudden bright.

grace, there was so much to read here, it gave me so much stuff to think about, i feel so honored, rich to be kind of part of it all.
it pulls me out of my existential despair often
    i started a black cloth ” Jude inspired ”
and as a miracle there was a black cloth from minka at the forum….
when i’ll be home i’ll start exploring the black
my 3 black doesjes for starters…..can i make the step to let my little old angel tovke go with trust in “god” ?
    sorry
crying here in the cafe without a real reason…..
    thinking of you

Dear and BEST yvette Ever…, there, crying for no reason,
not home yet…which is reason enough to me, i think, with
wanting a black cloth, and black..such a beautiful thing
to me because it loves all colors so deeply and shows
them to us like nothing else can…..
WE are GOOD, yvette. We are all part of eachother and
i feel so part of you.
things are good. and i think that things love us.
    and i love you.

It’s chambray or. Hot cotton. It’s where the warp and the weft are different colors. It has a light of its own…. Sometimes it really glows. It all depends on what colors are used.
