Oh grace… You will make it work. It’s calling and you will respond. A busy day here… I am tired. xo

Gosh Caroline is beautiful love her whiskers! good that the big whiptail can stay & there’s plenty of room for a few skinky skallywags to race about in too perhaps?

several things. first, the tail of a rainbow in the top pic. how perfect is that. and the black and white dog behind Caroline. same dog that was in the background of a different goat shot recently, i think. a herder? and finally, the eye issue. i’m having challenges around eyes as well–is there a message here–a suggest to “open wide the eyes?” to see? to really see? for me, yes, i think that is the task.

dog is the “normal” dog, Chinche…spanish for bedbug.
she is an undeterminate…a dog. probably most if not
all non purebreds around N Mex have herder in them
and yes…i saw that too, last night on your blog, the
issue of the EyeLikeLike

yes…Rain here, the smell of it, took me so long to
get used to. it’s the smell of dust and desert plants, creosote and sage primarily
except for my garden beds…like the wet earth of my
childhood
and now the smell of the Goats
all minglingLikeLike

I have always wished that I could just have one day smelling the world the way my dogs do. Just imagine what is out there that goes right by us…the things that define the world of most creatures is just completely beyond our reach. Damn.
