This is just so perfect. The burst forms around the oval are so perfectly echoed on the edges. It’s really alive.

“how does the second shred find its place.” i don’t know. but i’m wondering, does it matter if we know the “how?” or can simply marvel that it “did.” i love this piece. love it for so many reasons. love that the shred has crossed the line. creating clear quadrants like the seasons of our lives. and i totally love the little thing floating in the right had corner. looking on. watching this all play out.

the shred belongs. or rather, if it does, between the two of you, you’ll find its spot… but that BORDER, how that does something enlivening and wonderful! peeking out like that. adding brilliance.
