20 days left of the 365.   365 days.  One Year.    I went to see Alz B today, came home and  made a diagram to take with me tomorrow to the Mustang Camp.

to make it easier to tell her what i want her to know,  so i can ask questions clearly.  and i found out that this is the Winter Camp.  soon they will be returning to Northern New Mex….to Rio Arriba for the warm months.  no time to lose.

and i was thinking.   how everything will Shift soon into those warm months.  everything will take on different energy.  What is happening OutSide will become Primary.  Winter Camp.  Summer Camp.

and continuously in my mind,  since Maria, or she who sometimes is known as  2,  told me about  Friedensreich Hundertwasser,  and Austrian man,  an artist,  a Thinker,  his primary Ground of the 5 skins

but the 5 skins.  this has taken seed in my mind.  how it is true.  it's all skin.  just as the kind i see on these hands.  

i took away the "caligraphic notes"  as Dana referred to them, which i loved,  thinking of them as caligraphic notes,  but i took them away.  they did not belong there.  but might on some other cloth soon.  i need to reduce their lines even more.  thinking about that too

    well…i didn’t quite get the link yet. the letters DID turn blue
    which i view as great progress, but i’m still missing something….
    hmmmm. which might be why i stick with needle/thread/Goats????

    Hundertwasser! It was so wonderful finding out about him. There’s an apartment house in Vienna he designed with trees growing out of it. Wonderful wonderful. If it’s not Vienna I’m sorry, I saw it on google earth. He said everyone should have the right to paint the outside wall around their windows as far as they can reach.

    yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all his thoughts are just so ENERGIZING….
    the one about composting one’s own shit, the thoughts on
    buriel. just on and on. he didn’t waste a MINUTE being hesitant.
    for me it totally connects with the thing about Permaculture of
    Self…
    and he made his own clothes. shoes. socks. he made a new Flag
    for New Zealand. What a MIND…freed, unfettered, free

    Been mostly off the internet for a few days but wanted to make sure I left a comment today, the day of Mustang Camp. What a good idea to present a diagram of your layout so that Patricia can see the spaces and where the goats live. I’ve been wondering something about the goats: When I’ve been here, some of them come readily to the fence when I start speaking to them, just greeting them collectively, etc. I know I have called to Celia but I wonder, do they come when they are called by name? Imagine that naming would help in training…? Your telling of how it goes today will be so good to read.
    Anyway, off subject but important to share: Rich and I visited the other library that is here in Rio Rancho yesterday, smaller but we made a wonderful discovery. In January, the Esther Bone Memorial library in conjunction with Sandoval County has begun a Seed Library. We can “borrow” seeds. Lots of instructions, information, seed protocol etc. but the important thing is that in return for borrowing, we learn how to share seeds and give back some of our seeds as well as learn what will grow here. We had a few failures in our summer garden, cucumbers, winter squash so we are looking forward to all of this good information that will come from the Seed Library. This was a wonderful find. Sandoval County hopes to get this going in other library branches as well.

    well…that’s a question i’m not positive about how to
    answer…all of them have names and the do recognize their names but no…they don’t come when called, like a dog
    does. they seem to come because they are happy to see you, because they are curious, because they hope you have some interesting food, or even More food. some come because they like the physical contact. and then, there are times when because one of them came, they ALL decide to come. or they come because their mother did. but there is no constant
    direct response of COME to being “called”. so…that’s
    what i think. i will continue asking self that question.
    they also almost always respond to their name by LOOKING
    at you whether they chose to come to you or not. but
    equally, they seem to respond to just direct attention.
    meaning, i can go out there where they all are doing what they’re doing, and direct my attention to one of them in particular and it appears to me that they readily sense
    that…look up…watch me…watch for what i might be
    “up to”…particularly in the case of the ones…Arctica and Just Going, who don’t allow touching.
    thanks for the opportunity to think these things….
    and the SEED Library….this is just GREAT! i will very
    much look forward to hearing about this!!!!

    It is the next morning and my first thoughts were “Grace gets to go to Mustang Camp today!” I just can’t wait to hear about it, even though my two boxers are about as difficult to read as Cat in the Hat. Just the expanse and possibility of a new world for you, I guess.
    Also, somewhere on Spirit Cloth you wrote about “winter camp.” I need to tell you that this concept has changed EVERYTHING for me here. Feel less caged in by weather that confounds every effort to be outside and just more directed toward “what do we do in winter camp” like sharpen tools, square away larders, sit quietly and read, study,create. Thank you thank you.

    i love this..that stretched out all over the place people are waking up and stopping and thinking that today is the day..you are going to the mustang camp ..and we wait..thrilled for you to be going, anticipating not just the retelling of the story that you may provide..or the resulting cloths that could emerge from the experience..all the things that you so graciously share..
    but just pausing in joy to think that this all came together and that you are going..to exchange knowledge , to exchange stories..and then of course ..just to simply experience and observe and to absorb…some thing which you do so very well…
    all that for you..may you be filled to the brim..
    safe and joyful travels..
