and as i typed that,  i thought about what i MEAN by blank…asked self,  what do you Mean?????

and really, blank means no Cloth Making.  so i'm thinking about that.   These  kinds of days are anything But blank.  They are full to the brim.  With doing Necessities.  So, thinking.  Do i want to change things so Cloth Making can become a primary Necessity?   A hard question.

Tazmeena in an altered state absorbing First Sun on a recently protected scrap basket.  For days she was upset because the scraps were now under a single piece of cloth.  It changed everything for her and she didn't like it.  This morning she gave in.

Grief.  the holes are too big to ignore.  Handling the snow wood wore them through.   They have become so soft and perfect.  They are very large,  men's gloves but have been the Best.  Can i figure out a way to Mend them?

Sun through the orange shirt that Vicky of Cat in the Batt.blogspot loves…how it's just So orange but also for whatever reason continues to appeal to me???????

That's it.  Work away at Allan's who promised he'd be gone but wasn't and ended up showing me his latest hoola hoop routine for the well being of his back and long discussion about how to feel about mice in the home and and and then, back home,  a LOT of Goat Phone Talk  followed by WOOD.  WOOD really ruled.  Fire is snapping.

I’ve been known to use duct tape to mend much-lived gloves … doesn’t last very long tho

the soft stuff you buff cars with? Maybe.
I really could just get a new pair, but i have an attachment to

You might get a smaller pair (maybe fleece) and wear them under. I’d get a new pair.

Tazmeena looks happy in the sun, love the idea of repairing your best gloves with soft chamois & your cloth making is a primary food for the soul!

Always a struggle. Finding the time between the wanting and the needing…..your thoughts are correct….food and goat care….warmth…all priorities. Feeding the soul…sadly has to come last. Right or wrong…..it is the way!!! Wishing you warmer weather.

and it seems much longer than it actually is.

i’ve got a piece here somewhere. i think i will try it.
and yes…that’s a good idea, from both sides.
it seemed as if the wood with some snow moisture caused
the snapping…which was nice to know
but i’ll get that tarp out once the pile has dried off
we have a reprieve for the time being

Accuweather tends to be Optimistic with forecasts, but if it
comes true, January is forcasted with 50’s high 40’s and even
    2 60degree days…only one day of precipitation…..that would
be “normal”. So, you can understand why i WHINE when there’s
something out the window in the morning that Startles us…

would be handy to remove the damaged fingers and attach new ones from that old glove to avoid bulky layers in the wrong places for comfort and safety, kinda like an axe that has had it’s handle and head replaced over and over is it still the same axe?
