She is the Spirit that holds us together here.  Above and around her is a piece of Yvette's so delicate and so fierce silk and felted wool

on the Wall.  Ready for Tomorrow.  How much i love Tomorrow…only one night away.

AND I FORGOT ABOUT THE TRAP, THE RABBIT…see how it is?  ….What is critical in one moment is forgotten in the next…………..

Yesterday morning i did not see little rabbit but got the trap nonetheless.  Last eve couldn't figure out how to Use the trap so took it into town today,  back to the Feed Store and she didn't know either but i snagged 3 young men buying Hog Feed and got them to help me figure it out  which they did because they knew.  But this morning,  before i left,  went out to look for little rabbit and nope.  Not there again but who WAS there was the big feral tom cat,  the yellow one,  who i see now and then and he was on a fence post until i came out and he ran and Tay ran her perimeter after him.  I believe he is progeny  of my old Tom Cat,  Lion,  in spanish, phonetically,  le own,  who cared nothing for house mice but would drag home rabbits through the pastures and chili fields and fling them on the porch steps.  So…i think this was the way with little rabbit.  We'll see.

Country living can be so distressing but country people get used to it and She who holds all of you together holds all of it. My friends in Massachusetts also face the wild life cycles though they have no vegetable gardens to protect, nor goats, there are three permanently feral (but fixed) cats outside and a dog who comes in and out to think of, and the bird populace that are fed twice daily. Here I have only the poor pigeons still nesting on the front of the building (but no longer under the air conditioner) to worry over. It’s been raining and they huddle close, have their usual arguments about territory while the newest cheep for attention. They can be fierce with one another. They are wild things in a hostile environment. And so it goes.

Oh, the lizard…so beautiful. I’ve been reading about the brain – the limbic system – the amygdala – lizard brain.
