Home.  It's been almost a year i think.  i'll know tomorrow when i transpose 2016 Butterflies to the new 2017 Astronomy.  But he's back.  Back to the same yard he shared with his sire, Gideon.   This time tho

DSCN3835g

it was young Jack Flash (a kid of the TenZen breeding,  a wether,  neutered male) waiting….Who was very surprised.  First surprised when we took Gideon out and away,  calling to him calling to him.  Then suddenly,  a whole NEW being who did the tongue blubbering that Gideon no longer was interested in.  Flash jumped and ran and circled round.  Sunny chased him,   they spun and head butted,  but just lightly.  Jack seemed interested in this noisy, rowdy one.  Didn't seem at all afraid.

We had moved Gideon to his new senior living space.  He walked,  like the gentleman he is,  amicably, following the pellet bucket.  In and looked around.

SunnyRay was not so much a gentleman,  tho he has remained a gentle Boy.  It took 3 of us…two to move him around the pen and me to lasso him,  grab him by the horn and hang on for dear life to the opening where the transport crate waited where we smushed him in the crate that Jan and Travis loaded in the truck.  Ta Da!  Was almost easy.  Close to ease.  Ease.

and

SunnyRay again.  How he almost always is,  as always.  In your face.

so it was a Good day.  An Excellent day really,  and the Arnica healed me.  Tonight as i type this just now,  what had been frightening is for the most part gone.  Arnica.  an herb.  a homeopathic remedy.  Arnica.

May we live with Ease.

I’m just back tonight–stayed and extra day for the fact of a snowstorm…and I just went through at a clip all your posts since I left on the 19th….one can really feel the time and the efforts when one does that. Busy, and beautiful. So now the herd is re-configuring, shifting into and from…and aren’t we all (almost always) dear Grace of my heart. One thing to know is that HOMEOPATHIC medicines almost never go out of date (I have this from a homeopath of long acquaintance..I keep them in a cool dry place in a tin box and use when I need them. They may become somewhat weakened but not useless.
I just spent an hour eliminating, filing and reading some emails. 300 Items awaited me…many just cash requests of course, many just interesting sites I can miss for ten days, so I deleted them. I’m ready for a new day. Next I will download, edit and collect photos from Massachusetts and then construct some blogs. Many hours of idle labors undertaken with pleasure.

You know I’m partial to little Jack Flash…those graphics! But I’m so glad that everyone is home and they made it as easy on you as they could. Arnica, eh? I’ll have to try it. A wry neck that I can hardly turn to the left has made driving in traffic quite the adventure. Happy New Year!

I don’t understand Goats but love the pictures and your stories about them, such wonderful faces.
Today I Went and dyed with the cutch, also some walnut and acorn I had sitting around. Layered with oak, sumac, and cotinus leaves. The babies all wrapped up and ready to dream in the compost heap to brighten up the New Year. I hope it is a happy one for you Grace.

Love your goats! I hope Gideon approves of his senior accommodations and that Sunny Ray and Jack Flash are getting along.
Arnica is something that I depend on, and as Martine says, comfrey is also a helpful one. A friend of mine makes a comfrey/lavender cream that I love.

i DO wish you would try the Arnica. It truly is REAL.
Best if used immediately on injury, but still, even on
    chronic things

it’s the 2nd now and things are just Good out there. I think
stuff is going to be ok…that if there were going to be
glitches, they would have shown themselves by now. I am
HOPING. Would be so so great for a small space of time everything
just ok enough. And you know what i mean.
