Tay is doing well. Very well. 4 and a half days. No side effects to the chemicals they prescribed. Swelling almost non existent. No discoloration of the wound site. I knock on wood. She took the Hit for us. the Alert. Now we go.

yes. So, So much. the photograph reminds me of pics in like the Ladies Home Journal, Good House Keeping…in the 50’s
but they would not have pics of Mixed mothers…mixed children but somehow it’s the same and good to look at, to SEE…..
it’s emblematic of what we are hereLikeLike

what a precious little sweet pea! Those eyes and the quiet intensity and joy of those little legs!
and that Tay is doing well. That dog has been a beacon since she came into your life. learning, showing how to just go. peace and smiles and big love. as it is, as it is!!
(thank you for the update and thank you dear granddaughter for sharing her with us.)LikeLike

What an incredible photo of A and E both … their beauty made more so by the monotones … and how intriguing that the background is pixelated

Beautiful photo Grace … that you are now there .. imprinting yourself into the lives of your future generations. Makes my heart sing and dance as does the news that Tay is doing so well.

Oh my. This child’s eyes are full of future stories. Good news
of Tay.LikeLike

Beauty-Full as you would say it. But the picture is FULL. Those eyes looking at you.
So at peace here in Maine, knowing Tay is good. T
The days are numbered, here in America of “white”. I don’t recall the number of Future generations–but not many–and “white” will be the smallest of minorities. As it should be in this great land of welcoming …. Give us your tired and poor……LikeLike

Tay- she proves her strength by her quick healing and this is uplifting news.
Emrie- a face of sweet determination.
Alyssia- soft, gentle smiling gaze of a dear Mother.
The whole of all this, the WE, fills this day with loving spirit.LikeLike

Beautiful picture of Alyssia and Emrie. I hope you are all doing well and adjusting to your new life. So lucky with Tay. We just finished a snake avoidance class with our girls to hopefully avoid/minimize snake encounters. Will write more later.
Love,

Alyssia did the pixelation or whatever it’s called. The background was MESS….a Goat bucket with a dog bowl in it, flashlights, my bankers boxes and above, shelves with diapers piled in them

i love so much the melding of genetics. It was always a kind of humor…that my daughter was improving our genetic pool.
we now are whatever i am….irish, chech, english, the grandfather english and european jew, the grandkids black and the above, alyssia’s kids add puerto rican and El salvadoran, my grandson’s children hispanic and samoan and now even more. We are a rich blend.LikeLike

yes. Tay is strong. I only hope she learned.
Emrie. not always sweet. often fierce. she is way ahead of her months on this earth. But Alyssia, as she appears. So soft. So gentle. So measured in all thngs.LikeLike

What beautiful girls they are! And so good to hear that Tay is on the mend. Rattlesnakes are scary to me…one reason to be glad I live in Chicago. Just one.

The beautiful photo, it is held in my heart now and it is certain to me that all challenges and differences will melt away as comfort in the new places of just being unfold. The eyes of E are deeply looking…what a treasure..and her mama so gentle and sweet…the opportunity to share just going with them…the best gift.
Thankful to hear of Tay’s healing going well. Another gift that just came and goes each day a new experience…and surely her bright spirit will give her the memory to make her alert from now on.LikeLike

This picture, these beautiful faces, and the news that Tai is healing and will be whole has been the best part of this whole long shift!
