having changed…Giving Water in the morning,  from Giving Water in the evening.   At first,  there was a gap.  But now,  everything is OK again.   They are Ready.

Evenings now come fast.   The world here is cooler,  even,  cold~ish.  The water from the hose,  cold~ish.  That water on my feet,  cold~ish.  So….Mornings,  when Sun has arisen and warmed the world.  The water.  my feet.  Them,  my Friends.  Warm.

all this in this time span before Rain,  when this world will take on its Own.  so,  for now.

they are not afraid,  or even Shy.   Put your hand out,  they are there,  as knowing you are part of it all,  there,  as just

something along the way to something else where they will jump to.

Orphan Wisdom 2018 Nights of Grief and Mystery Tour.   Stephen Jenkinson and Gregory Hoskins.  Go look.  orphanwisdom.com

"the doors are pried open at night's end,  and still many linger and can't leave or won't and there is something like Victory in the air,  and a weary, luminous midnight  rumour  that, people,  heretofore unknown to each other, can still join for the sake of the young among them and for the world entrusted to them, and that the Mercies count as Kin,  and that wonder is the currency of the Gods"

just looked briefly at the Orphan Wisdom website, need much more time to look into this, but definitely will be reading his books. Just caught a tree frog on the inside of my deck door with my butterfly net and put him back outside. Its chilly here in MN too and raining for the whole week, maybe a total of 2 inches just in tomorrows forecast.

i should have been more specific…chilly at night. Days
still in upper 80’s. and chilly to me is not so much
    for most.
i love the visual of you and your butterfly net

Cant remember when I started following you. Unimportant really. I suppose I started to follow the blog when the time was right. A “recognition event” some time ago, that whispered “there is much wisdom here, from this woman”. Thank you for all that you share, your beautiful perspective on “living” and “being”. Your words enrich my “self”. Blessings Of the Mother to you.
