Good morning. It’s March 1st at 4:27 a.m. Having waked at 3 a.m., I got out of bed all restless and cold so decided to do all the prep-work for mailing out monthly bill payments, rather than fret. S-L-O-W and E-A-S-Y is how i did it, like an old dog chewing a ragged bone, careful and patient for an hour till i wearied – almost done. I mail all on Saturday and reliable weather reports say we are in for more squalls and chill through the ten days, with scant bursts of sun. Okay. Later today I’ll lay in some supplies. How tedious the repetitive tasks seem sometimes and the repetitive news from our wider world too often discouraging.
Then, Jude sent a sweet note…a tiny painted flower on brown bag paper and it said “it’s almost spring” – What a lift. So, onward to the 20th.
The lizards SPECTACULAR and that red line like a blood line running through-strong. I love the substantial weave and heft of the base cloth too. I’m curious about your “need not to know” due to my ‘need to know’,but simply a preference, not a necessity.LikeLike

This particular section..this picture.. is calming to me, yet knowing the quick energy that can burst a lizard into action, at this moment it evokes calm.

Here in Maine a cold dark start to March. Snow on the ground-deeper than it has been most of the previous two Winter months. Clouds. No Sun. I am just finishing morning pages and now will make some hot cooked cereal. Warm up from the inside. Hope the storage unit got emptied.

the first blush of green … spreading from winter grasses to the tender ends of brush and up into the trees … we, too, are watching and waiting with the creatures of the land

Good to hear that you are surviving the wind and rain. I’m catching up a bit here. All that noise must have been
startling for the goats. They are tough though, and beautiful too!
Love how naturally the lizard fits into this stitching story.LikeLike

we always look forward…with anticipation, with “hope” or
what i might think of as “hope”? What might that be?LikeLike

Maybe you can blog that? I miss knowing the Doings of your Place….i think of it in this moment and so Benevolent.
I used to say that about the Place in N. Mex…using that word, benevolent. What did i mean? Benevolence….FOR Whom, TO whom? This Place Challenges, but is it not benevolent too? Benevolent.
