this Cloth has been Waiting a long time.   This morning,  i saw it totally differently….not the insert image as ON,  but rather,  as seen Through.  As looking into a far distance,  Through.   It changes everything and maybe that's what its been Waiting for?

today is the day last year that we let the Goats Go.  Let them Free.    Not knowing,  but having some kind of Faith.    Emrie spent the day yesterday with her father at some kind of birthday celebration,  not hers,  and then spent the night with him.  Alyssia was elsewhere.  This morning she went with her father and his sister,  her Aunt,  to the zoo.    She has not asked for MomMom although they have done the thing with live in your face conversations a couple times,  whatever that's called.  She is Fine and Good and very much Just Going.  On vacation.  Emrie is on vacation.   I don't know how to feel.

Face Time? I have no idea about what these phones do. But you can talk to each other while looking at each other. You wanted more “out in the World” for Emrie and the Universe and her father is giving her that. The Zoo. Oh, she will have such stories to tell you. And you will need those Geographic magazines with animal pictures to help her remember and tell you the stories. Perhaps making a Zoo Animal Book together. I see Emrie going out into the World in that cloth.

I recall that woman at the top of the mountain and she could be looking into the future or the past, but she seems triumphant, though she could be calling out to the universal forces for aid just as well.
Emrie is learning so much. She can communicate with mom on high end technology for example and she is able to experience a party where some one else is the center of attention. That’s a good skill to learn.
However, I connect with your concern for her. Maybe the woman on the mountain is connecting to her as well. What’s that famous poem about shooting an arrow in the air ‘it lands I know not where’ ? That’s what it is with beloved children…we let them go, yet stay forever connected through the ‘heart’.

When my daughter was pregnant, I came across this quote by the great environmentalist Rachel Carson:
“If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in.”
Change the he to she in this quote and know that for Emrie, who is expanding her world, you are hat person who shows and shares with her the wonder of her day to day world on the Hill.
