as time goes they begin to resemble lily pads.   She calls them the lily pad plant.

some develop a secondary small leaf under multiple blossoms.

Miner's lettuce.   Claytonia perfoliata       100 grams,  a modest salad,   contains a third of the daily requirement of Vit C,  22% Vit A and 10%  iron.   They are native here.   Self perpetuating.    Interesting again….Goats do not eat them.  so…i would assume too that deer would not.   January through February so far.  in Profusian.
