just light,  but steady almost the whole day.   Jenny came this morning to bring grass hay for the buck goats,  Feed Store not open on Sunday.   We walked in the Rain,   i showed her all the Chaparral Whitethorn transitioning to Eeyores i had found.  As we walked,  we found more.  As we walked we also found new Whitethorn,  especially down at the edge of the  A meadow.  A very small new one,  you say…oh!,  a baby,  when actually it could easily be many years old.   We don't know.  Because Rain makes things stand out,  we saw many   "young" trees of all the kinds this Hill has.   so we walked and looked a while but the Rain continued so she went home.   This…a piece of wet bark,  not sure whose,  but so BeautyFull

i stitched.   the whole rest of the day.  To get the spokes steady so i can keep it here,   at the Table,   and the bees can begin to come in earnest.

bark! … with markings that are beyond wonderful … I couldn’t figure out what it was just by looking at it, but once you named it my eyes could see nothing else
it is amazing how the naming of things makes them stand out, makes them visible to us …

What size is this piece Grace? I am going to try to eco print something like your tree bark- it might take a long time but if I do- it will come to you!! I agree with Jude- a lifetime of stitch possible on this one.

it’s really interesting, isn’t it….we see and don’t have any idea. What all might it be? before we know it’s name.
I saw it that way…ahead some…a shape and color on the earth. What. I wish i’d just stood there longer, with the question of what.

    it’s big, Joanne. 20×22.
i love that you think to do this, but it IS as it IS.
the ….hand… of it is exactly as it needs to be.
    Another layer would change that.
It’s a WorkingCloth. To be held and taken Out, as
i work with the sense of Evolution, how that might go.
    But thank you.

I loved seeing the cloth on the land. I understand not wanting to change the hand of the cloth. And you are welcome. Lovely pictures.
