was going to wait. but then i realized, if i made a decision i regretted, i can take it apart. Change things. love this. so, i did what i did to let the Red stand. to be in all its Red Glory. Today, Red rules. and then, there was that scrap of Michelle on the table over near the thread/rock basket and i thought…..why not and folded all it's edges and pinned it there and Why Not?
the grandiose Intention is to make 2 kind of Twin Size quilts. One for Jenny and one for Alyssia and Emrie to share. I think i can do it. I think i have enough. When i showed Alyssia the first and second squares, i saw her interest. Asked if she would want such a thing and she said yes, but also that Jenny would REALLY want one. I had no idea. Jenny doesn't say. but then, this is a first for Alyssia too. She said that Jenny LOVES quilts. Loves TOUCHING them, running her fingers over them…???? I never would have imagined. We are such an odd bunch. So tight in certain ways but also such mysteries to each other. Or at least, them to me.
It's RAINING. Forecast is for 3 days. It has never rained in September since i've been here. So far no downpour, but a steady Very Good RAIN.
