My alarm is going off at 8:05 to urge me out from under a ton of blankets so I can go help a Friend sell her hand made hats and fingerless mittens at a flea market today. She felted all wool sweaters from thrift stores, cut into hats and mitts and embellished with cute designs. She is one of the first Friends I met at the Woman’s Rubber Tramp Rendezvous when I first started my van life Journey 5 yrs ago. She is now 75, and retiring from van life after this season as she wants to build a permaculture farm on some land she bought last year in Nova Scotia.. raise chickens etc.. She spent all last summer building fences and a small shed, mostly all by her own hand! Planting many young nut trees.. I asked when will they produce to harvest? she said maybe not in my lifetime, but I am planting for the future generations.

this is Tuesday…i’ve kept thinking about this since i
first read it….wishing we had Pics of that Flea Market
and…Nova Scotia….eeeeeee…..i hope she will be open
to people coming to camp a few days and in exchange, help with some of the work of it….she is a Courageous woman.
i just thought…if you Message me photographs, i think i can bring them over here and post them???? I could post her mittens and hats
