sewing denim
this fine silk thread and these tiny needles….flow through denim like butter. the needles require enormous FOCUS to thread… this silk or a single strand of embroidery thread….. but as you go, you get better and better at it. it also was discipline for small stitches, which i needed. I'd never hesitate stitching denim with these. and look forward to the repair.

I got my mom’s sewing stuff after she died. Included was a tiny plastic ziplock with 30-40 tiny needles – just over an inch long, very thin and with tiny eyes. I don’t remember her ever using these and I have a hard time seeing myself using them! But maybe I’ll give them a try someday, especially since you report they slide through heavy fabrics.
