and so surprising.    just to be clear.   those words on the envelope….longues……Longs?   ……   they are not at all long.  and again,  until you get used to them,  are awkward          But they make hand work with denim possible.   When i wanted to make this  cover i tried many needles and none except these would allow me to see the cloth through.    and now  make the idea of the Noragi possible.   My family knows my love of denim.   The more i think of it the more the noragi might happen.

Without a thought to needles…my love of denim goes like this: for years, forever really, I have said my favorite weather is sunny, in the low 70’s…what I call “Blue jeans and t-shirt weather”. 🙂
But these needles of yours may make patching jeans easier!
Will watch you as you go.

Stellar! I do love these needles as well ~ they work very well with and for denim stitching, in my experience! This post is luring me back to my “long stalled” projects, which use the jeans Mr. BaggyPants loved. Whoop whoop! I guess that’s a round-about way to say thank you, Grace! And YES to noragi!

That is strange. All I can think of is that for some reason the French term for “sharps” must be “longues.” The French brand equivalent to John James is “Bohin”. Their packaging says the “Longues/Sharps” for every size. I have a thrifted jeans jacket that needs mending desperately and I’ve been putting it off for years. Maybe I can join Grace’s denim mending project?
