I really like the magic ribbons card, Grace. I might borrow your idea, I hope that’s okay.

surprised by my response….

They are the first creative spark that’s come…i’ve been

All I know of onyx, symbolically, is that it offers protection so I went searching and this was the first thing that I found:
“Onyx has been associated with many different meanings and symbols throughout history, including:
Protection: In ancient Indian and Persian tales, onyx was thought to protect against evil and was believed to be a protector of harmonious relationships.
Love: The contrast between the black and white layers of onyx was thought to symbolize the love between two people. (I do not see any white in your onyx but maybe we can stretch this meaning by looking at your black and white r thread?)
Power and courage: In astrology, onyx was associated with the zodiac signs Leo and Capricorn, which were considered the most ambitious signs at the time.
Emotional well-being: Onyx was worn as a talisman to reduce mental tension and absorb bad energy.
Understanding the wheel of birth, death, and rebirth: Onyx was thought to reinforce the knowledge that there is no death. Regeneration and new beginnings: Black has been associated with regeneration and new beginnings.”LikeLike

No worries, Grace. I think it’s a positive that you feel that way. May your creation bring much joy to you. Just looking at it here is more than enough for me.
