So. Done. my drivers license renewal required a vision test…all those over 75 yrs…….
High Anxiety. a Who Knows thing. I'd not noticed any change but you never know, I might be surprised…..so it LOOMED. The possibility of surprise. I put it off, was over due, but had an appointment for today. and
I went.
and passed. 4 more years, good to go.
Minnow's Spay, this…..had LOOMED over everything else. What will it be like now?, to be done with both? I look forward to tomorrow.
Oh yeah, what a relief to have those done. I have to renew this coming year. I think I need a test. I have new glasses, hope they do the trick 😉

And yet we go on.
So glad that all is well. Next year I have to take a driver’s test. We build our lives based on the present, but the future looks over our shoulders and reminds us of the possibility that things may need to be adjusted. Or completely changed.

Georgia pulled this on me several years ago. I remember the anxiety of that test because I wear 2.5 cheaters for most everything close at hand. I passed too. Tests you can’t study for are tough.

thought of NEEDING glasses to have permission to drive….
eeeeeeee. and that’s the thing…can’t study…can’t
know how it will play out…could be anything.

I renewed my license this week also. We get 5 years out of a renewal. I know what you mean about the vision test. I wear glasses though all the time and get my vision checked just about every two years so figure that I should be good to go for the test, but like you say you never know what might happen when renewing.

I’ve had my vision tested once in my life, a requirement for Peace Corps training…early 20’s
never since
so…can only guess from the experience of seeing. They
have so much power, those things like DMV requirements…
they can say
NO
and you have no recourse
but good to go this time and the next, i’ll be 83 and maybe time to let it go…?….who knows
