This elephant is so zen 🙂 Love the prints on these bits of cloth. There is such a good reciprocal relationship between cloth and tag.

Sigh, I have to get my head out of the political cesspool that it is in because even though your elephant drawing is exquisite, ever since you mentioned your elephant dream and showed your drawing, I have had such a visceral, knee jerk reaction, not seeing the elephant for what it is but seeing it as the mascot of the MAGA party!

I recognize those bits of cloth! Wonderful colors of a desert sky…And the strong trees that shaped an elephant image in your mind.. now drawn here brings thoughts of how endearing the elephants personalities are, how as a family they protect each other, worry for their young, help their tribe survive. And to see this image of strong tree branches forming strong limbs and trunk.. our surrounding flora and fauna are so intertwined into our own being.

Something is happening here. BTW do you know about the elephant preserve called Sheldrick Trust? One of my most favorite feeds online. Frolicking babies. Babies being fed with giant bottles by their keepers. The giant mamas surrounding a newborn. You get the idea.

Marti – Elephants are far too noble to represent the current GOP … I’m partial thinking of them as the muskrat party, but that’s probably not fair to muskrats either 😉
