I am listening to the strong female voices who are encouraging us to take the steps we can, however small, to not let MAGA win. I have an amazing niece who runs a cat rescue who took flack over posting that her organization supports the LGBQT community, feminism, Black Lives Matters,etc. So I sent her a donation because others were threatening to not contribute in the future. I don’t know a way forward through what’s to come other than taking these small steps in pushing back. I’m grateful for this community of women and the wisdom you have to share. God bless Bishop Budde for having the courage to speak truth to power.

Here is the link Grace. Thank you for asking. She and her mom, who is in her eighties, converted their garage and back porch to house unadoptable cats. They practice catching feral cats, getting them “fixed” and releasing those that are too wild to ever become pets. My favorite part of their mission is pairing cats with seniors at no cost to the senior, including any vet bills. If there comes a time when the senior can no longer take care of the cat, they take it back. Sorry for the lengthy post, I’m just so proud of her and caring heart.LikeLike
