    Grace~ Perhaps I will create a task for me to do. I don’t much care for this holiday.

    Have to reply to myself. With my rather cynical response I had to back it up by Google. 🥸. As humans we do honour our mothers in meaningful ways across many societies and cultures.Like other rituals that we humans have created to acknowledge those mysteries in our lives, capitalism has hijacked this time. Christmas, Easter, and Halloween come to mind
    So as Nancy has written , May love and family fill this Mother’s Day.

    Donna~ I love that you come back to elaborate on this. I too have many thoughts on this day. Frankly, I don’t really like it or enjoy it any longer and plan to do something ‘giving’ with the rest of my day.
    With that being said, I do wish for others a time of enjoyment and love and celebration of who they are and who they think of in the world of mothering. And I wish that for Grace and you too…we all have had a mother of one sort or another, many of us have been mothers/grandmothers/great grandmothers of one sort or another and we deserve to love and be loved.
    Boy, did I start rambling. haha
