I’m so glad you like it. When you said of your dream, a giant praying mantis landing on your chest I remembered this shirt hanging in my closet, only worn a few times. Not my work. Purchased at an art fair. It is wax batik, tie-dyed. This artist does (did? I haven’t seen her in a few years) a lot of nature related work. I thought she captured the tilt of the praying mantis head perfectly. Have always loved how they will look you straight on and follow your movements.
