Today was such a Great Day that really, only very small stuff makes sense. These are beans from my work place yesterday. all over Martha's garden's fence are vines with so MANY bean pods. I took a few and left her a note asking what they are. Really, i can't imagine anything so FINE as these beans….3 to a pod….all shining as if they had been Polished. Shining. Glossy. Shining. There were so many things today, i need to just let them be still. Let myself be still.
Goodness.
And dark … wonder what color they would make on cloth …

i wonder if these are hyacinth beans? the ones that have purple-ish leaves and deep magenta blossoms? edible and beautiful. fun for making teepees.

The title of this post has stayed with me overnight and into this day as has the photo of the humble yet magnificent beans. I’ve been harvesting my hyacinth beans, moonflower seeds and morning glory seeds. My hyacinth beans are rounder, not so shiny.

teepees, they could. Such FINE vines. But no…Martha today said Scarlet Runner. she is the Ultimate gardner. i am so grateful to just be able to see her garden every other week
