looked for the garden tool i thought i might have brought.  Didn't.  But did find these….the copper innards from the old Subaru radiator.    Funny what made its way and what didn't.

test run of the two drip hoses in the Wall Garden.  Maybe more constant moisture might make a difference this time?    Made 2 batches of Alfalfa pellet Tea for the grapevines tomorrow.   Yesterday same for the Plumcot and Pear trees that Have survived the deer.   So far.  This will be their 3rd year.    Sat and stared at my mail in ballot….how it is done now here in Butte County.   It's been here for a week.  Today i finally opened it.

The tool is there- somewhere. It’s how I go looking and find what I wanted days or years ago- right there. didn’t see it until then. You need the copper now– Marti “mixes with a splash of vinegar and red onion skins” to get a nice green cloth. I found some Haitian women I painted with dye. Was supposed to overstitch with machine and colors of thread -like a painting. Lost- maybe 20 years now. Found during looking for collage paper. I wasn’t ready to find it. Might not be ready now- but was so lovely to see it again. that was enough. Might already be lost again. We have to do local voting tomorrow and then again on Super Tuesday for primary.

So surprised to see her Skirt in the shop; felt she belonged especially to you, Jenny, Alyssia and Emrie…strong females.

The cloths are quite wonderful. Wish I had that much confidence in picking scraps to use or scraps that spoke to me.
Seeing the innards, i had to smile. Having moved a year ago, I wonder why I donated some things I did such as the wonderful vintage ironing board in rust orange that I really could use!!!

You inspire me greatly with how successfully you’re amble to draw on damask.
Once I get the growing season going under lights in the basement. Thought I’d research dye plants. See if I can collect a few plants in the later spring. Turn some areas of the Evolving Sanctuary towards that purpose of cultivation.

able not amble. why must AI persist in thinking for us? The results are a massive jumble of hilarity and frustrating incoherence!

the copper radiator innards … we have some, too … somewhere, Don thinks he knows where they landed after the move
so that and red onion skins and vinegar … Marti’s recipe for the most beautiful green … thank you for reminding me of that
