so.   in the begining,   each end of day i would fold everything neatly.    Clean the table.     then after while,  it was just stacking on the basket.   this is how it is now.  how it will be till they're done.

if  i were ever to buy a new piece of clothing,   it would be an   Ann Taylor.   Just because of the incredible workmanship.  workpersonship    This i am sure you can recognize,  came from Deb Lacativa.   It has been in SO many things over time….is a True Love.  Taking apart the placket,  an epic effort.

and the pocket.   just SO fine….it will find its   Place.

the sense of Love~Life force    holds.

Life force made beautifully tangible here! Pocket on a quilt ~ perhaps ~ to be and to hold provenance, message, story, thought. The photographs hold powerful “life force”. Love-life force holds.
My hands and head remember how to construct beautiful pockets and plackets. My Mother could tailor anything. She purchased an Ann Taylor pair of slacks (early 60’s ?), replicated them by tailoring slacks for me ~ from a pair of the Father’s vintage war-time gaberdine slacks. The pockets. Oh those wonderful pockets. She put pockets in every garment she made for herself, and for me. The backstory of Ann Taylor here: https://bit.ly/3eIyQhv

Ann Taylor – I bought a lot of it back in my working days. Nothing too memorable, really, and all given away now. It delights me to see that article of clothing taking on new life, dyed by Deb L. and cut into pieces by you. The pocket is So Wonderful.

I have things like this from Goodwill. The pockets and plackets. I keep and save them. All mine still white.
I am thinking I will paint them. It’s something I “know”…I do not know dyes.

I once made a bag from many plackets stitched together … now it occurs to me that one could make log cabin blocks with them … probably the right thickness for a placemat
Thank you for triggering this thought!
